Vertex Pharmaceuticals
From January to December of 2018, I worked as a design intern at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston, MA. During my time at Vertex, I worked on elevator signs, email collateral, booklets, and even coffee mugs.
Working with a group of people dedicated to fundamentally changing lives was in many ways an eye-opening experience. I learned from both my colleagues at Vertex and the patients and families of the Cystic Fibrosis community.
I spent most of my time designing the digital signage for our elevators, TV screens across the building, and throughout the world on company platforms. I worked with the corporate communications coordinator and different stakeholders throughout the company to make sure that their messaging was received by our colleagues in a clear, concise, and visually appealing way.
I also had the opportunity to redesign the company hiring manual and create motion graphics in support of our new intranet site.
